Did you think that I got lost? Apparently I did for almost a year but I’m back! You better be excited or at least mildly happy….giddy with anticipation? Okay, it’s better not to get carried away so a brief little tight lipped smile will do.

It’s been a busy year and I’ve learned a lot about love, relationships and lots of other things too. I can hardly wait to share.

Sometimes it’s lonely being single, especially when your best friend has found someone she loves after only a few months of being single and here I am, single for almost 5 years and I’ve made lots of friends, but not even one romantic interest. Big sigh here.

I met her guy tonight for the first time. I wanted to be able to tell her that he’s all wrong for her…..but..he’s perfect for her. He fits in well with all of our very strange friends and he didn’t make one judgement comment on any of them….and from what I hear, he fits in well with even more “normal” people….like the people she goes to church with.

Congratulations Wynona….you did good. Now…since I am apparently such a horrible judge of men, go find me one too!!

I have spent the most delightful few days snowed in at the Super 8 Motel in Cheyenne Wyoming. That sounds strange doesn’t it. Its amazing how a catastrophe seems to bring people together so that they chat with strangers. I met a lady going to Arkansas to visit her mother, a man who worked on the oil rigs from Saw Texas, and a gorgeous sheepdog who looked exactly like his owner. I shopped at the beautiful Cheyenne mall….the in town roads were great driving….just the interstate was closed. I got a cowboy hat and learned why cowboys wear cowboy hats. The snow was heavy rain-snow and the brim kept it out of my face while it also kept my hair dry. I’ve worn it everytime I went out of the room since I bought it. I wore it home. I wore it to WalMart once I got home. Its amazing how friendly people are when you wear a cowboy hat. Men smile and wink, women all smile and teens are indifferent just like always. I wonder how my doctors will react when I wear it to work?

I am one of those people who just seem to be unlucky in love. Oh yes, I have been married twice. The first time for almost 10 years and the second for 24 years so it isn’t that I can’t sustain a relationship, just that I can’t seem to do it happily. Well surprise surprise. I ran the previous husbands through the 2 Girls Bling Relationship Compatibility Forecaster and it didn’t turn out very well at all! In fact, I have run every man in the system against me and the only one I match up well with is………..drum roll please………Prince Charles! Now this gives a whole new meaning to waiting for your Prince to Come!

Gosh…..sometimes I wish I could just make the past go away and start from scratch, only knowing everything I have learned from all of those things in the past! Apparently it’s easier to start over on blogs than on life…..so here I am. A brand new blog with a different look.

A New Look and a Move

My daughter asked if I would mind if she moved my blog to another domain hosting account that she had while she tried to put all personal items into one hosting account and her business items in another. In the process, the transfer didn’t go as expected. All my pictures remained in the files but my posts… well they have gone somewhere else.

With that, I’ve been done for a little while as Wendy tried to see if she could find the postings. Since she wasn’t able to get them to come back, I get to start from scratch again. I may post information that I had previously or I may just start over.
